Outreach Ministry

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in… (Matthew 25:35)

The Outreach ministry of Greater Bethesda is committed to carrying the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lives of people in their homes, churches, schools, jobs, communities, and the world. The Outreach ministry strives to be actively involved throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, in the surrounding communities in the city of Upper Marlboro, in convalescent homes, hospitals, local jails, prisons, and to the sick and shut-in. The Greater Bethesda Church Outreach ministry delivers the gospel of Jesus Christ which ignites hope, healing, peace, and deliverance. It is our aim to make a global impact by sharing and showing the love of God and winining Souls for Christ.

Music Ministry

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. (Psalms 150)

The Music ministry of Greater Bethesda strives to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through songs and instruments. The goal is to encourage believers in their walk with Christ, to lead the congregation in worship, and to provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gifts of music (song or instrument), their talents, and their abilities and be an integral part of worship unto the Lord.

Youth Ministry

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 19:14)

We endeavor to minister to all souls from the “Cradle to the Grave”. The Youth Ministry of Greater Bethesda seeks to provide opportunities for youth to encounter God and develop a personal relationship with Him through relevant and applicable Bible teachings, worship experiences, and service to the community.
